Yet another day, another rape case, another hashtag, another cry out for justice, and to top it all off, another attempt by the govt to appease the national sentiment. This devastating cycle never breaks.
A soul-wrenching sexual abuse case is delivered to the limelight. Men kidnapped and gang-raped a lady and her 4-year-old daughter for 2 long weeks, within the Kashmore area of Sindh.
Furthermore Police said that a gang of suspects induce a lady, who belongs to Karachi, with the promise of 40,000Rs job in Kashmore. The lady and suspects met at a hospital in Karachi.

According to the FIR, the lady was offered employment on October 25. She traveled there with the lads and her four-year-old daughter. the lads then detained the pair at Malak’s residence in Kashmore and gang-raped the lady. A checkup confirmed the gang-rape.
They then released her but kept her daughter. Moreover, told her to bring the lady who was together with her during their meeting at the hospital in exchange for the kid. They threatened to murder her daughter if the lady didn’t comply.
Police on the lookout for the culprits
Afterwards, the lady approached the police in Kashmore, who did a raid at Malak’s house. They saw three men, out of which two of them are identified on the spot as Muhammad Rafique Malak and Khairullah Bugti. However, they didn’t know the third man.
All three fled once they saw the police and jumped over a wall. Fortunately, Malak landed on a pile of bricks, injuring his legs. The police were ready to arrest him but the opposite two fled. However, the police team has said on record that they’re going to be ready to identify the opposite two on sight.

The police found the kid inside and Malak confessed that he had raped her as he was ‘furious’ at her mother. Moreover, the police confirmed that there have been marks of violence on the kid . That made confirmed that she had been raped. The mother and child both were shifted to the Taluka Hospital Kashmore.
Until now, the kid has been taken to a hospital in Larkana where she is in serious condition. A case has been registered against Malik at the Kashmore police headquarters.
In addition to the present , he has been remanded into police custody for 3 days. consistent with the police, Malak may be a resident of Kashmore and owned land there. aside from him, the police are on the lookout for the opposite two accomplices.

Sindh governor took notice of the incident
Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has taken stern notice of the Kashmore gang-rape incident. consistent with his spokesperson, the governor has telephoned the IG Police and Chief Secretary Sindh seeking an instantaneous report of the incident.
He said that the Kashmore incident was very tragic and therefore the accused involved within the incident should be arrested as soon as possible and punished.
It is truly disappointing to ascertain Pakistan not doing enough to stem violence against women, including ensuring perpetrators are held accountable.
