Fasting also helps economically. Rich people spend freely on the poor to win Allah’s happiness and pleasures. Their kindness and generosity helps the poor people to receive enough funds to fulfill their needs, at least for a part of the year. After Ramadan, on Eid-ul-Fitr, every Muslim is responsible and obliged to pay the Fitrana of every member of the family.

Fasting brings spiritual value to life and it also serves as a spiritual and physical exercise.In Quran, it is described as the completion of Taqwa. Believers are commanded to fast during the month of Ramadan so that they can come closer to Allah physically and spiritually.It also maintains the connection for the rest of the year.
