The most talk in the town conversation of today is the wedding of owner of Master Tiles. The massive amount of money which was spent provokes Federal Board Revenue (FBR) to inquire for spending nearly Rs2 billion (200 crores) on the wedding ceremony.
The wedding ceremony resulted in attracting media attention for its unique and extraordinary lavish style. Several Pakistani celebrities also spotted in the events. People were quite furious over the unnecessary expenditure.
Both sides threw highly paid grand functions in times when people are facing difficulties in meeting their basic needs. People were curious to call them out for showing off their wealth.

As a result, FBR conducted an inquiry to the service providers that were involved in the extraordinary lavish wedding to detect possible tax evasion.
FBR investigates first phase of grand wedding
The first phase of investigation of the grand wedding is now completed by FBR. The details shared by the tax authority reveals that Rosa Blanca Country Club, the venue place of wedding located in Lahore and they paid 150 million to them
The FBR inquiry drive to the conclusion that the private company does not have any NTN (national tax number) at all. This is a strong reason to suspect that the entity was not paying taxes at all.
Religious scholar Moulana Tariq Jameel was paid Rs 1 million for providing his sermon in the marriage ceremony.
According to further investigation of FBR, Qasim Yar Tiwana was paid nearly Rs15-20 million just only for the decoration of the baraat. Tiwana declared his income from business is Rs 216,743 in the tax year 2019.
The amount of Rs10 million was paid to Whimsica I Parties and United Events and Services for decoration. On the other hand, Ahsan Habib was paid nearly Rs10 million for walima decorations.
A heavy amount was also made to photographers and videographers for giving their best services. As well as the Rs3 million was paid to Irfan Ahsan and Rs2 million was made to Mobeen Studios.
Osman Pervaiz was paid Rs3 million. On the contrary,Rs1 million was paid to Ahmad Fayyaz for photography at mehndi and wedding. Winc by Nadia and Shazray Khalid paid Rs 1 Million each for providing makeup services.
