Finally, the much-anticipated anthem of season six of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) featuring Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal and Young Stunners was released.
Titled Groove Mera, the track begins with the powerful vocals of Naseebo Lal and the audience is guaranteed to begin buzzing to the track as she takes control. We will go on to see Aima Baig, who delivers powerful vocals in her quintessential style. And when they rap their way into the album, we see Young Stunners make an entrance. The rap was written by the performers themselves.

The anthem this year represents the realities of the COVID-19 pandemic as well. As most of the fans are going to watch Pakistan’s biggest sporting event remotely, this anthem cheers both players on the field and their fans at home as they celebrate their groove,” the statement continued, adding: “Most importantly, the best part of the anthem this year is that it features female vocalists as the leaders.
Fans were disappointed by last year’s Tayyar Hain anthem featuring Asim Azhar, Ali Azmat and Haroon. The star-studded partnership had failed to please fans of cricket, who retaliated by poking fun at the album.
Groove Mera was composed by Xulfi, while Fida Moin directed the music video.
