The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has ended. After beating Lahore Qalandars by five wickets in the final held at the National Stadium in Karachi, Karachi Kings captured the 2020 PSL.
The Kings and Qalandars match was intensely competitive. Even though Qalandars are losing the game, Pakistanis are happy that for the first time ever at least Fawad Rana got his team in the PSL final.
Rana is considered one of the PSL’s most vibrant and influential personalities. Among Pakistani cricket fans, he is regarded as the most ardent and enthusiastic PSL franchise owner. Rana became the first person to purchase a PSL franchise in Pakistan, after acquiring Qalandars in 2014.

Fawad Rana is respected by cricket fans across Pakistan and other parts of the world for his positive attitude. While Qalandars lost the PSL 2020 final to Kings, Rana was praised for his positive attitude by social media users from all over the world.

It is important to remember that the path to the final was not simple for Qalandars. With three consecutive losses, they began their PSL 2020 journey. They went on, however to win their fourth game, but lost the fifth game by a large margin again.
There have also been rumours that, following their early defeats in PSL 2020, Rana may sell Lahore Qalandars. Rana Fawad denied the allegations, however.
It’s clear that Rana has done so much for Pakistan’s domestic cricket. It’s people like him who invest in such dangerous places where there’s a minimum chance of winning.
