COVID-19 continues to target more Pakistanis and people worldwide. Maulana Tariq Jamil, a prominent religious scholar from Pakistan, was admitted to a hospital on Sunday after testing positive for the novel coronavirus.
The religious scholar said in a tweet, “I didn’t feel good from the last few days and it was positive when I got tested for Covid-19 and was admitted to the hospital on the doctors’ advice.”

The renowned religious scholar from Pakistan even asked his followers to pray for him.

One of the most famous Deobandi scholars and preachers in the country is Maulana Jamil. Prime Minister Imran Khan also prayed for the religious scholar’s swift recovery.
PM Khan said in a tweet that he was hoping for the swift and complete recovery of the religious scholar from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The positive rate of the COVID-19 rate in Pakistan is now 8 percent, according to Dawn News . As the total number of casualties due to COVID-19 in Pakistan has risen to 8,796, 72 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours. There are 438,425 total coronavirus infections in Pakistan, 46,692 of which are active cases.
The recommendations for the COVID-19 pandemic were issued by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC). The NCOC is the central agency of the federal government dealing with the pandemic.
