An allegedly intoxicated woman and her male friend at the Lahore Defence Housing Authority (DHA) created an uproar, attacking and assaulting a police officer outside a restaurant in a strange incident on Saturday night. A case was reported at the Defence B Police Station against the defendant.
Following video of an apparently drunken woman who went viral on Saturday night, the suspect was booked by the police. The woman can be seen thrashing and hurling abuse at policemen outside a high-end restaurant in Lahore’s DHA in the surreal video.
According to the police, before arriving on the street outside, the woman first misbehaved with the workers of the café. In addition to this, police officials state that as they both left the restaurant, the ruckus started.
The restaurant guard allegedly asked the woman to stop drinking alcoholic beverages in public. However, after the woman declined to do so, both of them got into a heated argument. The nearby police, seeing the fuss, stopped by to end the uproar.

In addition, the police said they were trying to calm her down, but to no avail. The drunk woman went crazy and started slapping the officers. In reality, she went on to tear off one of the officers’ uniforms, attempting to calm her down.
People gathered at the scene from the local area and started filming the ongoing scuffle. The pair can be seen performing torture on the cop in a video making social media rounds. They chased after him as he attempted to escape a confrontation, with the woman threatening to slap him. The constable, however, retained his calmness.

Later, in their car, the suspect and her friend sat down and left the site. Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Umar Sheikh took notice of the incident after the incident’s video appeared on various social media sites. In addition to this, he directed an investigation against her.
In spite of her assaults, I thank the officers for not reacting to the woman,” he said, adding that the woman would be arrested as soon as possible.”
In a slightly similar incident earlier, following the revised timings in the malls according to the smart lockdown, a woman in Karachi wanted to go to one and slapped a guard before its opening time for not opening the barrier. The woman was seen hurling abuse at a mall security guard in Karachi.
