Watch: Kashmore’s Brave Daughter ASI reveals how she met the rapist & got him arrested

A guy, identified as Rafiq Malak, confessed to raping a woman in Kashmore and her underage daughter on Thursday. Police also used a trap to capture the suspect while an accomplice is currently at large. Reportedly, Muhammad Baksh, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI), used his own daughter as bait to convict the rapist.

A video, apparently filmed by police officials, was posted on social media on Wednesday. As her mother asked what had been done to her it showed the child struggling to answer. Her screech made her mother scream and burst into tears, while not clearly audible in the video.

The child’s medical report also indicated that she was assaulted by more than two people. According to the FIR, on October 25, the woman was offered a job and later travelled to Kashmore, where Malak and two of his accomplices arrested the mother and daughter and subjected them to gang-rape at the residence of Malak.

He later released the woman, telling her that if she brought him another woman from Karachi, he would only let her daughter go. The men beat the 4-year-old seriously and raped her.

After the police team raided Malik’s house, where they saw three men, the victim told the Kashmore police. The police are also in possession of the two accomplices. Muhammad Baksh, the ASI cop, used his own daughter as bait and got hold of the rapist.

The victim approached the key suspect over the phone along with the ASI’s daughter. They welcomed him into a hotel where he was arrested by the police. On the information given by the suspect, they retrieved the younger child of the woman from private premises.

Soon, for his instantaneous courage, social media users started applauding the officer.

As of now, on social media, a video has appeared of Bakhsh’s wife and daughter being interviewed.

The mother of the brave child says in the video, “We took this step for humanity’s sake.” In the presence of the police, we sent our young daughter there. The defendant also shook her hand and asked her if she wanted to do a job that she said yes too.

She did all of this for that one child. She didn’t even use food, we felt like we were crying to see her in that state. The environment of our house has been interrupted for three days now. Even though we hadn’t seen the girl in front of us, we were so concerned. For this, Allah will reward us. 

The man asked the woman if she had brought a girl with her the daughter revealed. She said yes, I brought a girl here, and we’re in City Park. Then he saw us and asked us which girl was there. “She pointed at me and he said, “Yes, she’s fine.

Then he shook my hand and asked me if I wanted to do my work. I said yes, and then the police turned up and arrested him,’ she added. Such a courageous family!

It is important to note here that the Sindh government should write a letter to the centre proposing that the ‘Quaid-i-Azam Police Medal’ be granted to Baksh as the highest police award. The Sindh government, meanwhile, will also push to give the highest civil award to its daughter. Needless to mention, they deserve it indeed!
