After five speeding vehicles of the Federal Ombudsperson for Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplaces Kashmala Tariq’s protocol broke a signal and crashed into a car and motorcycle, at least four people lost their lives. The tragic accident took place in Islamabad on the Srinagar Highway.
The former MNA protocol vehicles broke the Sector G-11 traffic signal, according to the police. Two vehicles collided with it, killing four people.
The car crash left two others injured in addition to this. They were taken immediately to the Hospital of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
One of the vehicles had a number plate from the government, the police said. In addition, five vehicles allegedly formed part of the VIP motorcade.
Tariq’s husband, Waqas Khan, and son, Azlan Khan, were also sitting in one of the cars, according to Geo News and videos shared on Twitter. Police allegedly arrested her husband, while her son and others were fleeing the scene.

Also, the Islamabad police confirmed the driver’s arrest. Vehicles have been taken into custody and, the statement further added, action will be taken in accordance with the law. A case has been reported at the Ramna Model Police Station.

The first year, Tariq tied the knots with local businessman Waqas Khan, the legislator and lawyer. Her husband is known for owning the Best Western Hotel as a businessman. He had also been married previously and had a son with his ex-wife.
We want to ask when PM Imran Khan said that there were no more protocols in Pakistan. Now what is this, then? These so-called protocols of VVIP destroy poor individuals.
Ask millions of people what’s wrong with the politicians in Pakistan, and you’re going to get millions of viewpoints. That tells, in itself, a terrifying tale.
In our democracy, politicians have for decades practised their misuse of political power. Evidently, after getting away with something, be it stealing the lives of the innocent, they continue to do so.
