Whatsapp is the great blessing of today’s age. It will soon introduce a new feature of disappearing message, which is designed to helps user in order to easily use the feature on their digital footprint.
The new updated feature will launch and functioned in phones, it is convenient for the users to set an option for each individual chat they are in – whether separately or in a group – the automatic function of deleting messages in the duration of seven days after they have been sent.
As compared to some competitors, WhatsApp is the secure messaging app Signal, which is owned by Facebook, decided not to change the length of time messages are stored, for example; the service also removes images and videos sent.
The company says in a blogpost.
“In order to keep the peace in mind that conversation are not permanent, we’re offering the duration of seven days, while having a practical mind, you will not forget what you were chatting about,”
As we see that the shopping list or address of any shop you had few days ago will be there but after some time it will disappear.
“It’s great to preserve the best memories of your loved ones, but most of what we send doesn’t need to be everlasting. Our goal is to make conversations on WhatsApp feel as close to in-person as possible, which means in a certain time period it will have to be disappeared.”

Disappearing messages option can be enabled when you tap the chat name at the top of the screen and then scroll down to choose a new option for “disappearing messages” in order to turn it on. By applying this older messages will not be deleted, but this have to be kept in mind that either the member of a chat can turn the setting on or off, though in a group chat only admin have the full control.
As with other disappearing message options, an individual need to trust his/her friends. There is no authority to the other party in a chat taking screenshots, or forwarding, messages they want to save for further use.
The new feature introduced after WhatsApp launched a shopping service, integrating itself with Facebook more tightly than ever before. Users will now be able to send message to the company on the app, see a catalogue of sale items, and complete a purchasing procedure, without leaving WhatsApp. The feature will also enhance revenue to the company, and the company will pay good amount to whatsapp for this business tool.
Shops which are already using Facebook, will be able to operate directly on WhatsApp too, without setting up a second storefront. Which means that, initially WhatsApp users could find that their activities on the chat app feed their advertising profile on Facebook itself.
“When a person is coordinating with a Facebook shop, those coordinations, and their data will be used by Facebook,”
Matt Idema, WhatsApp’s chief operator, stated that
“The data which is used by Facebook includes the products you’re browsing, and items you may choose or select to purchase for.”
