On The Historic event of Pakistan Day, ISPR Releases New Song ‘Aik Qaum, Aik Manzil’
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a new national song on the historic event of Pakistan Day to be held on 23rd March. The name of the song is “Aik Qaum, Aik Manzil.”
The song is sung by Ali Zafar and Aima Baig. The lyrics of the song have been written by Abid Hassan. Apart from that, the composition for the song has been given by Ali Zafar.
This mesmerizing song also highlights Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s message of sacrifice rendered for attainment of independence of the dear homeland Pakistan.
One Nation, One Destiny:
The song elaborates this year’s theme for the Pakistan Day celebrations
“one nation, one destiny”.
It is an unconditional resolve to stood by all challenges and crisis bravely with national solidarity and determination.
The song opens up with the Quaid’s address to the nation. In his address, Quaid says,
“We have overcome many challenges and have done great sacrifices for achieving Pakistan.”
It also contains visuals of various military parades. Including this, it highlights the nation celebrating Pakistan Day at Minare Pakistan, Pakistan Monument, Faisal Mosque, Badshahi Mosque, Ayub Bridge Sukkur and other memorable destinations along with performances by Ali Zafar and Aima Baig.

In an official statement, the ISPR said, “On 23rd March 1940, despite all odds and ends, Muslims of the Sub-Continent, while exhibiting heights of unity, faith and discipline, passed the historic Resolution for demand and establishment of a separate homeland.
Muslims always shared one vision and were always stood firm like a rock in their resolve against all odds.
The song; Aik Qaum, Aik Manzil, highlights the very same perspective of ideology of unity, resilience and an indomitable resolve of Pakistanis, 81 years later.

As a nation, we have came forward a long way in the last decade, where every Pakistani has shown great resolve, in times of tribulations and adversity, whether in the war on terror, or fighting COVID or even any other calamity and difficulties.
The secret of our success lies in unity. If we shall remain stead fast as one nation, the new decade is ought to bring in even brighter future for us ,and we can overcome any calamity as well.
In 1940, creation of Pakistan was our purpose and our demand for a separate homeland which must be free from any other nation living there and we shall have to work even in a more better way to make it a prosperous destination.
